Design champions!
Clearly we’re not the boastful types at Uniform, but sometimes when you get a huge pat on the back, you just can’t help yourself.
So (while blushing profusely) we were delighted to pick up the prize as Design Consultancy of the Year at the prestigious MINetwork awards last night in Manchester.
Hundreds of agencies entered the awards from around the UK, with the final decision falling on experienced heads like Brian Child (former chief executive of McCann-Erickson Manchester) and Richard Hayes (marketing director of Warburtons).
We were in fine company, with TBWA Manchester picking up the Advertising Agency of the Year trophy and Pete Markey of More Than named Marketing Director of the Year.
The MIAwards is part of the Carnyx Group, owner of marketing magazine The Drum, and celebrates marketing excellence. It would be rude not to tell you that they were particularly impressed with our work with brands like Carlsberg and Unilever, our international work and the big investments taking place. It’s been a big year for us, and next year already looks like it’s going to be bigger. Bring on 2012! Cheers!
