Start an Evolution

Uniform won an international pitch to work with DDB Canada on a new campaign launched this week, for the University of British Columbia (UBC).

DDB Canada, the most creatively acclaimed, internationally recognised marketing communications agency in Canada, approached Uniform to participate in the project after seeing the agency’s philosophy film, which is now featured on more than 500 blog sites worldwide.

UBC is one of Canada’s leading research universities and consistently ranked in the top 40 in the world out of around 17,000 universities globally. The ‘start an evolution’ campaign developed by DDB Canada, is the most ambitious fundraising and alumni engagement campaign in Canadian history. The four-year campaign will begin this autumn, with the two films being featured in targeted online advertising.

The CG animation films use new and innovative creative techniques to bring the story to life. Uniform also collaborated with long-term music partner P&S, who compiled a unique composition and score to accompany the animation.

DDB Canada said they chose Uniform from a list of agencies around the world, for their insight and understanding of the project and its objectives.
