Duck and Cover
Duck and Cover (DAC) is one of the UK’s most recognised fashion brands. Since 1996, the company has built up a following of cool, urban fashionistas. DAC worked with Uniform to develop an online marketing campaign to engage with a new, younger audience and create unprecedented buzz.
We created a campaign that brought something fresh to DAC, whilst retaining the brand’s core values. The ‘We Want Your Face’ campaign was launched in September, inviting participants to enter an online modeling competition, with a chance of becoming the face of Duck & Cover.
At the end of the campaign we had accumulated consumer data from 16,500 subscribers and the campaign site had received 106,000 visitors. The analytics revealed that over 500,000 pages had been viewed during the campaign, with users spending on average, 4 minutes on the campaign site. This culminated in over 9,000 stories being posted across the web. DAC also experienced significant increase in traffic to the main DAC website and an uplift in online sales.
