The Shard is one of the most enigmatic buildings to grace the London skyline in recent history. This visionary project, designed by architect Renzo Piano, is set to be Western Europe’s tallest building at 306 metres high. The developers Sellar Group appointed Uniform to develop a series of communications to promote the project globally and engage with stakeholders and the local community.
For a project of this scale, it was important to think about communications holistically, connecting different messages with one clear vision. It was vital for all stakeholders to have a discernible understanding of the project’s different stages and the progress made.
Developing a consistent approach enabled us to create unprecedented levels of coverage in the press and media as our film was broadcasted globally on CNN, CNBC and BBC World news. Content from the campaign has been redistributed virally, which has created additional interest in this landmark project.
